Bean Bag Décor in Jessup and Howard County

The latest rage in home décor? Bean Bags, and they’re not just for kids anymore.
Typically relegated to dorm rooms and kid’s playrooms, the lowly bean bag has come a long, long way over the years. In fact, today some of the top designers are incorporating bean bag furniture into some of the swankiest homes. And for plenty of good reasons.
You already know that bean bags are fun pieces of furniture that act as comfortable seating and casual decor at the same time. But until recently not many people ever considered that bean bag furniture can also be used to liven up a home’s décor.
Here are just a few examples:
- Consider more than just round bean bags. The round bean bag is the classic of its breed. However, there are also bean-bag chairs, bean-bag cubes and bean-bag ottomans. A bean-bag chair is perfect for a reading corner in a bedroom or living room, or you could add a few bean-bag ottomans to your den. Mixing up your bean bag collection is the perfect way to achieve a fun look and a comfortable feel.
- Choose complementary colors. Since bean bags aren’t considered traditional pieces of furniture, you’ll want to do everything possible to help them fit in. So look for a bean bag with colors or patterns that complement the style of the room. There are so many different colors, shades and patterns to choose from that you will easily find the right color bean bag for the room.
- Measure for the correct size. Bean bags and lounge bags come in a variety of sizes, ranging from extra small kids’ sizes to jumbo-sized versions for the grown-ups. Consider what room your bean bag furniture will be going in so you can select sizes that comfortably fit.
- Remember texture and fabric. Bean bag furniture is available in many different textures and fabrics: from micro-suede to twill, vinyl and even corduroy. More choices means greater flexibility come shopping time.
Now that it’s spring, your thoughts might be turning to other home improvements, as well, such as kitchen or bath remodeling. If any of your plans include plumbing, don’t forget to include us: Your 1 Plumber. Still and always, the only one you’ll ever need.
