Tips To Remove Stubborn Stains From Your Glass Doors

Hard water leaves a variety of stains on glass surfaces, especially glass doors present in bathrooms.

These stains are incredibly stubborn and will resist normal cleaning products. They have the capacity of ruining the entire aesthetic facet of a bathroom.

You can use an assortment of cleaning products and these stains will not even fade, especially if they have been present for a substantial amount of time. The longer you wait to deal with these, the more difficult it will be removing them permanently.

Try the tips given below to remove those stubborn stains;

Ingredients required

In order to remove those persistent stains, there are certain ingredients that you will have to gather. These ingredients are mentioned below.

  1. White vinegar
  2. Spray bottle
  3. Sponge

Step1:

Fill the bottle with water and vinegar, the ratio should be 50% of both ingredients. Shake the bottle well and then move on to the next step.

Step2:

Spray the mixture on the glass surface, don’t be stingy;spray until the entire surface is covered with the mixture. We would recommend applying it to the entire surface area of the glass door as this mixture also helps shine the surface.

Step3:

Once you have evenly applied the mixture to the entire glass door, now simply use a sponge on the affected area. You will have to be persistent and will have to repeat this process at least three times before the stains start to deplete.

Step4:

After rubbing the affected area with a sponge, let the solution sit for a couple of minutes. By now you will notice that the stains are no longer visible but you are not done yet.

Step5:

As the solution or mixture dries, keep adding an extra coat. You will have to do this for at least five minutes to permanently remove those annoying stains. Finally, wash the mixture using warm water and voila those stains are long gone!

As mentioned before, some stains are so persistent, they can only be removed using high acting chemicals which plumbers have access to.
